Oscar Ruby Velvet Perfume by Oscar De La Renta, Launched in 2016, Oscar Ruby Velvet is reminiscent of the original Oscar scent from 1977. Its inspiration is pure femininity and sophistication. Based on luxurious burgundy evening gowns, this perfume smells rich and glamorous. Its top notes are fruity and floral, with black currant, dewberry, lychee, red lotus, pear and plum blossom. As it progresses, you will begin to smell jasmine, magnolia, orange flowers, purple Datura and calla lilies. These floral scents give it a girly, airy edge. It ends on a white amber, blue iris, tonka bean, black orchid and patchouli. The base gives it its depth for day and night.
